SFIMS makes no guarantees regarding the uninterrupted availability of the website or the specific outcomes of the appraisal process.

2. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SFIMS, including its directors, employees, and affiliates, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services or website.

3. Prescribed Connections & Designated Bodies

It is important to understand the limitations regarding prescribed connections:

No Independent Connection: Doctors do not independently establish a prescribed connection with a designated body through our services.
Due Diligence: This connection is determined exclusively through internal governance procedures and due diligence conducted by the designated body itself.
Regulatory Compliance: Doctors intending to practice in the UK must strictly comply with the due diligence and compliance requirements of their designated body, as outlined in GMC and Responsible Officer (RO) regulatory frameworks.
Termination & Refunds: If a doctor fails to meet these compliance requirements, the designated body reserves the right to terminate the connection. In such cases, no refund will be issued by the service provider (SFIMS) or the appraisee.

4. User Obligations & Accuracy of Information

By using our services, you agree to the following obligations:

Accuracy: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information provided to us is completely accurate and up to date.
Account Security: You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Full Disclosure: You must disclose any known issues, ongoing, or past complaints. Doctors who have not disclosed known issues or complaints at registration are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.

5. Payment & General Refund Policy

All fees for our services are payable as invoiced. Except where services have not been rendered or are not as described, all fees are non-refundable once paid.

6. Governing Law

These Terms, along with this Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
